Rev. Jean Brown holds a Ph.D. in transpersonal psychology and a master’s degree in counseling psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in Palo Alto, California. She is ordained as an interfaith minister through the New Seminary in New York.

Jean has been instructed in Reconnective Healing by Dr. Eric Pearl. She is a Reconnective Healing Practitioner and a Level III approved Practitioner of The Reconnection. She is trained in the Dagara tradition of ritual and divination by Dr. Malidoma Patrice Some´.

As a spiritual counselor, she works with adults individually and in groups. She works with young people using meditation, guided visualization and relaxation exercises, as well as self-regulation exercises to empower youth by teaching them how to connect to their inner resources.
